Art Club, “Charro Muerto”

At Slater we have a local artist’s work on display in one of our cases, “Charro Muerto” by Carlos Fresquez. Students in Art Club used the print as inspiration for their own printmaking project. They used his themes and ideas about honor, joy, and El Dia de los Muertos, to create their work of art. Here is Fresquez’s print:
